PITX crowding challenges management, police

Just hours before the Noche Buena (Christmas Eve dinner), passengers at the PITX rushed to go back to their hometowns.

The PITX management strictly implemented protocols on travel documents especially for passengers who are 66 years and above and 17 years old below.

If they are traveling, first of all [they should consider] if it is not that essential or if it is really necessary. If possible, it is better for children and old people to avoid traveling since they are highly vulnerable to the threat of COVID-19),” PITX Head, Jason Salvador urged.

But if it is unavoidable, Salvador advised travelers to secure a travel authority,.

With passengers hurrying to catch Noche Buena, social distancing proved to be a challenge. Other people were not wearing face masks and shields properly as well.

Police personnel were on standby to remind the public about the health protocols. – Report by Daniel Manalastas
