POEA: 500 Pinoy caregivers needed in Israel

Israel is in need of 500 Filipino caregivers for this year, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) announced Thursday.

POEA Administrator Bernard Olalia said the total is based on the country’s quota and the bilateral labor agreement of the Philippines and Israel for 2021.

Applicants should be at least 23 years-old, a graduate of Nursing or Physical Therapy course, or a college graduate who completed a caregiver course from any training facility accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). They should also present a national certificate (NC) II from TESDA.

“Mayroon tayong link sa poea.gov.ph na kung saan pwede nilang i-click ‘yun at mayroon kaming e-registration para pumasok sa platform na iyon (We have a link in poea.gov.ph where there is an e-registration to get into the platform),” Olalia shared.

“Nandoon lahat ng requirements, ‘yung mga qualifications kung kayo po ay interesado pumunta ng abroad (All the requirements and qualifications are indicated there if you are interested to go abroad),” he added. – Report from Kenneth Paciente
