The vaccine cluster of the country has established a quick substitute list to respond to the possible backing out of some individuals under the national vaccination program priority sector.
According to Secretary Francisco Duque III, the health department is aware of possible changes in the list of priority COVID-19 beneficiaries due to health concerns, tight schedule, and other factors.
The list includes frontline workers who will eventually receive the vaccine doses of individuals initially included in the list of National Immunization Technical Advisory Group but may not be able to show up for the actual inoculation.
“Kung may natira, ibibigay natin ngayon sa healthcare workers ng AFP/PNP dahil kasama sila sa prioritization. So walang problema ‘yan (If there are vaccines left, it will be given to healthcare workers of the AFP or PNP because they are included in the prioritization. There’s no problem there),” Duque said.
