Kinumpirma ng pamunuan ng MRT-3 na nagnegatibo sa COVID-19 ang anak ng nagpositibo sa UK variant at empleyado ng naturang tren.

Ika-20 ng Enero nang dalhin sa quarantine facility ang depot personnel at nakakumpleto na ng mandatory quarantine noong January 30.
 
Nitong ika-13 ng Pebrero naman nang malamang nagpositibo sa UK variant ang kaniyang ina, agad siyang isinailalim sa panibagong swab test noong ika-14 ng Pebrero at nakakuha ng negative result.

Bumaba na sa 13 ang aktibong kaso ng COVID-19 sa MRT-3 nitong ika-15 ng Pebrero mula sa 56 na kaso noong ika-25 ng Enero.

Nilinaw rin ng pamunuan na wala pang naitatalang kaso ng COVID-19 sa mga tauhan ng MRT-3 na nakadestino sa mga istasyon ng tren.

Nananatili namang nasa “enhanced access control” ang depot office at ang mga istasyon ng tren kung saan dapat ay makapagpakita muna ng negative RT-PCR result ang mga empleyado bago makapasok sa trabaho.
