SC approves digital 2021 bar examinations

The Supreme Court (SC) approved conducting digital bar examinations for 2021.

In an en banc resolution on February 8, the high court has allowed the digitalized, localized, and proctored modality for the 2021 bar examinations.

However, 2021 Bar Exam Chairperson Associate Justice Marvic Leonen clarified that the exams will not be conducted remotely but in testing rooms with a surveillance camera.

Each examinee will proceed to a local testing center near his/her own house or school where they have graduated.

The SC also approved the schedule of the examinations on November 7, 14, 21, and 28.

Bar examinees can apply starting May through an online application system and were also reminded to observe minimum health standards. -PTV News
