Statement of Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar on Cebu Archbishop Jose S. Palma’s Health After Contracting COVID-19

We extend our prayers for the speedy recovery and good health of Cebu Archbishop Jose S. Palma following the unfortunate news that he had recently contracted COVID-19. We enjoin the Catholic faithful to pray for the good Archbishop as well.

May he recover swiftly so that he can continue to fulfill his religious obligations and be an inspiration to the Catholic community to keep up the fight against COVID-19 and help in our healing and recovery as one nation.
