Survey reveals 76.5% of PH nurses are ‘willing to be vaccinated’

76.5% of nurses in the Philippines are ready to receive the vaccine against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

This was revealed by the recent week-long survey of the group Filipino Nurses United (FNU). It showed that 494 out 646 respondents are “willing to be vaccinated” against COVID-19 if given the opportunity, 37 are “not willing to be vaccinated” over fear of possible side effects while 115 respondents are “undecided”.

Given the apprehensions, the FNU calls on the government to take the responsibility in monitoring and indemnification if a vaccine would cause adverse side effects, and death due to the vaccine. -PTV News
