7 out of 10 PNP personnel are ‘willing to be vaccinated’

Seven out of ten Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel are “willing to be vaccinated” against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

According to PNP Deputy Chief for Administration Lieutenant General Guillermo Eleazar, more than 153,000 or 70.14% out of over 219,000 PNP personnel have agreed to be vaccine recipients while more than 65,000 or 29.86% are “hesitant to be vaccinated”.

PNP Chief Police General Debold Sinas, himself, stated that he is prepared to be vaccinated in public.

Lt. Gen. Eleazar hopes for an increase in the number of police personnel who are willing to be inoculated against the virus. -PTV News
