Government eyes completion of med frontliners vaccination by mid-April

The government aims to accomplish the vaccination of medical frontliners by mid-April.

In an online forum, Vaccine Czar and National Task Force against COVID-19 (NTF) Chief Implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. disclosed that around 1.7 million medical frontliners have been vaccinated so far.

He confirmed that the senior citizens, indigent population, and the vulnerable sector are next in line to receive the vaccine. Once more supplies arrive in the country, mass vaccination may push through in May and June.

Based on his data, around 1.2 million initial vaccine supply against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been distributed to various vaccine sites in the country. Report from Kenneth Paciente
