Pasay City Public Market workers swabbed

Employees, stall owners, and helpers of the Pasay City Public Market have undergone swab testing as part of the intensified health protocols in the city.

Based on the report of the city, 7 have tested positive in the said market since the start of the swab testing on Thursday.

According to the Pasay local government, the RT-PCR test is free of charge and a shuttle bus is provided for people going to the swabbing center.

Aside from disinfection, “flushing” is also conducted every Wednesday to ensure the safety of the vendors and consumers. The vendors are also required to present a certification showing a negative result from the swab test to enter the marketplace. — Report from Rod Lagusad
