Search for most innovative Science teaching materials on

MANILA — All elementary and secondary teachers nationwide are invited to submit proposals for the Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute’s (DOST-SEI) search for the most innovative teaching materials until November 10.

The contest, dubbed as “Innobox”, aims to encourage teachers to be more creative and innovative in teaching Science, with the end in view of improving student performance in the subject.

Science teachers are encouraged to submit proposals in the following categories: Grades 3-6, Grades 7-10 and Grades 11-12.

Entries must be from a Science teacher, or from a team led by a Science teacher. They could also be a student-teacher collaboration, the DOST said.

The agency, however, reminded that the entries must not have won in any competition.

For more details, interested parties may check the DOST-SEI website.

Entries may be sent to [email protected].

The agency said it will announce selection results in the DOST-SEI website. The date of the announcement, however, has not yet been set. (PNA)
