Taguig City opens its 8th vaccination site in Bonifacio High Street, BGC

The local government of Taguig continues to expand its COVID-19 vaccination capabilities.

On April 28, 2021, the City officially opened its 8th vaccination hub on the second floor of B7, Lane P, Bonifacio High Street East in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

This vaccination hub is the 4th mega vaccination hub in Taguig. It is open from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Saturday, and can accommodate 400 vaccinees daily.

The City operates this vaccination hub in partnership with AC Health of the Ayala Group.

“We are grateful to our private partner for its commitment to help us reach more people by building accessible and easy to locate vaccination hubs,” Mayor Lino Cayetano said.

The City has three other mega vaccination hubs located at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura, Lakeshore area, and Vista Mall Parking Building. It also has four community vaccine centers stationed at RP Cruz Elementary School, Maharlika Elementary School, EM’s Signal Village Elementary School, and Western Bicutan National High School.

Aside from mega and community vaccination centers, Taguig also launched the Mobile Vaccination Bus, a vaccination bus that will be deployed to selected communities to accommodate 200 vaccinees daily.

As of April 26, 2021, Taguig has vaccinated 29,603 residents from priority groups A1-A3; 9,958 healthcare workers, 9,880 senior citizens, and 10,157 persons with comorbidities. A total of 1,517 have gotten their second doses.

Those wishing to be vaccinated must secure their vaccine registration and generate a QR code through Taguig TRACE. TAGUIG INFO will send the vaccination schedule and venue via SMS or text message. The healthcare workers will assist only those who have secured their schedule at the vaccination hubs; walk-ins are not allowed. (PR)
