COVID-19 vaccination continues in Quezon, Butuan

The conduct of the national COVID-19 vaccination program continues in Quezon Province and Butuan City as millions of doses arrive in the country.

More than 27,000 individuals comprising medical frontline workers, senior citizens, persons with comorbidities, and other priority beneficiaries have been inoculated in Quezon.

According to the Quezon Integrated Provincial Health Office, 24,633 have been administered their first dose, while 2,960 have been given their second jab.

 The province will continue its vaccination program for registered beneficiaries who belong to the A2 and A3 groups.

Meanwhile, Butuan City pushed through with its vaccine rollout on Monday (May 17).

This followed the delivery of 300 vials of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine that will cover the first dose inoculation of 3,000 senior citizens from the 86 barangays of the city.
