DND: First two T-129 attack helicopters expected this September

The first two units of six T-129 attack helicopters for the Philippine Air Force are expected to be delivered in September this year, Department of Defense (DND) Spokesperson Director Arsenio Andolong said on Tuesday (May 25).

A total of six T-129 helicopters will be acquired with a total contract price of $269,388,862 from Turkish Aerospace Industries under a government-to-government mode of procurement under Section 4.2 of Republic Act No. 9184.

The remaining four units are expected to be delivered in February 2022 (two units) and February 2023 (two units), respectively. (DND) -jlo
