COVID-19 vaccination ongoing in Pangasinan, Sulu

The government’s COVID-19 vaccination program continues to cover more individuals in provinces and is preparing for the inoculation of essential workers.

As of May 29, Asingan local government in Pangasinan has already vaccinated 828 residents using Sinovac Biotech’s CoronaVac and Oxford AstraZeneca jab.

Asingan municipal health officer Dr. Ronnie Tomas said 517 healthcare workers and 311 senior citizens were given their initial dose, and 127 of them are now fully vaccinated.

Tomas urged senior citizens to get vaccinated to ensure their protection and other members of society. The municipality ranks fifth among all towns under the Provincial Health Office’s watchlist after recording 33 cases.
