More than 12 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have arrived in the Philippines as of Monday (June 14), according to the latest data from the National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC).

In a Palace public briefing on Monday, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque clarified through the NVOC Bulletin No. 105 that the latest tally of vaccines that arrived in the Philippines stands at 12,605,870.

NVOC also reported that a total of 6,948,549 individuals have been administered with at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccines, with 1,879,694 of them having completed two doses of COVID-19 vaccines.

The priority group A2, the senior citizens, recorded the highest number of doses administered with a total of 1,734,596 at first dose, followed by priority group A3 with 1,733,869, priority group A1 with 1,447,426, and priority group A4 with 152,964.

National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 Deputy Chief Implementer and testing czar Sec. Vince Dizon also said during the public briefing that the Philippines now holds a three-week streak of achieving one million doses administered per week.

The testing czar also said that jabs now average at nearly 150,000 per day despite insufficient supply of vaccines.

– rir
