Red Cross mobile vaccination efforts continue around NCR

This week the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) drives its Bakuna Bus to several areas around Navotas and Mandaluyong to help boost the country’s COVID-19 vaccination efforts in coordination with partner local government units.

Today (July 27), the PRC Bakuna Bus is parked at Dagat-Dagatan Elementary School and then will travel to San Roque Elementary School tomorrow to target around 400 to 600 community members, specifically senior citizens and bedridden clients in Navotas.

On Saturday, the PRC Bakuna Bus will drive to Brgy. Highway Hills, Mandaluyong to target around 500 individuals who received their first dose last July 3.

As of July 27, the PRC has vaccinated more than 48,742 individuals at its Bakuna Centers and Bakuna Buses.

“The Red Cross never stops. As long as there are vaccines available, the Red Cross will help the government in its vaccination efforts,” said PRC Chairman and CEO Sen. Richard Gordon. (PRC) – jlo
