Eastern Samar cops help former reb get medical aid

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police Gen.Guillermo Eleazar lauded the sincere gesture of police officers in Eastern Samar in assisting a former rebel in need of immediate medical attention.

Based on the report reaching Eleazar, a certain ‘Ka Sabio’ has been ill and news of his health condition reached the 1st Eastern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company through concerned citizens.

The policemen then took Ka Sabio to the Casano Hospital in the town of Dolores for a medical check-up.

Ka Sabio was confined for monitoring and testing.  He was found to be suffering from systematic viral infection and was prescribed medication.

He was discharged by the hospital after the police officers shouldered his hospital bills. They also provided him with medicine and a one-month supply of vitamins.

(PNP-PIO) – jlo
