Fully vaxxed Filipinos reach 15-M

More than 15 million Filipinos have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Sep. 5 (Sunday).

According to the national government’s vaccine statistics, 15,033,354 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered as the second dose and 20,805,610 doses were administered as the first dose totaling 35,838,964 doses administered.

In the recent data, the average daily administered doses in the last seven days are 391,367 while the average number of active reporting vaccination sites in the last seven days is at 1,821.

For priority groups, 2,425,184 doses were administered as the first dose in A1 population, 3,427,089 in A2 population, 5,668,374 in A3, and 7,154,799 in A4 population.

Moreover, 2,034,806 doses were administered as the second dose to individuals under the A1 group, 4,016,318 in the A2 population, 5,286,401 in the A3, and 3,059,841 in the A4 population.

The Philippines has received a total of 52.7 million COVID-19 vaccines since February. Vaccine czar Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr. also assured that around 54.5 million additional vaccines are set to arrive in September and October.
