The Metro Rail Transit (MRT)-3, Light Rail Transit (LRT)-2, and the Philippine National Railways (PNR) have served free rides to over one million COVID-19 vaccinated authorized persons outside of residence (APORs).
Based on the Department of Transportation’s (DOTr) data, they have served 1,732,158 passengers in the 33rd day of the “Free Ride for Vaccinated APORs” program as of Sep. 5.
Vaccinated APORs can acquire the free ride during the following selected hours as well as present their vaccination cards as proof of their jab.
LRT-2:
- 5:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
- 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
MRT-3:
- 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
PNR:
- 4:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.
- 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- 7:00 p.m. onwards
The DOTr implemented the program at the beginning of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) and modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in Metro Manila.
