SANTA ROSA, Nueva Ecija – A subdivision in Barangay Lourdes was placed under granular lockdown after more than 40 residents were found positive or suspected to have been infected with coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

Section 2 of the EO states that no one shall enter or leave Santa Rosa Homes within the said period.

“Kung may medical emergency ang isang naninirahan at kailangang pumunta sa duktor o ospital, papayagan silang lumabas at makapasok muli (If there is a medical emergency and one who is residing there needs to go to the doctor or hospital, they will be allowed to go out and enter again),” Section 2 of the order read.

“Kung magpapabili ng gamot at iba pang essential items, ang mga kawani ng pamahalaang barangay sa Lourdes ay tutulong sa pagbili ng essential items (Barangay Lourdes personnel will help those who will request to purchase medicines and other essential items),” the order added.

Employees who will have to report to work shall be allowed but have to find temporary shelter for they will not be allowed to return until the lockdown ends.

The EO also provides for the mandatory wearing of face masks, a liquor ban, the prohibition of social gatherings as well as delivery of any items from the outside.
