DILG suggests wearing vax cards like IDs

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Martin Diño suggested the wearing of vaccination cards for easy verification of an individual’s vaccination status, particularly when entering some establishments and dine-in restaurants.

Kung antimano isasabit mo na sa iyong dibdib, ‘di ba?” he said during the Laging Handa public briefing on Wednesday (Sept. 22).

The Interior Undersecretary said this would boost an individual’s confidence when going out in public places.

Diño said he would recommend this proposed requirement to the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

– CF – bny
