CSC honors frontline gov’t workers in its 121st anniversary

The Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) honored the medical, law enforcement, and multi-service frontliners in its 121st founding anniversary on Monday (Sept. 27).

Speaking at the virtual appreciation program for the frontline government workers, CSC Chairperson Alicia Dela Rosa-Bala praised the dedication and sacrifice of all frontliners in providing selfless service all throughout the still raging pandemic.

“We continue to look up to them as our examples and inspiration in continuing our journey in public service, be it normal times or exceptional circumstances,” Bala said.

Among the agencies whose work and support that the CSC acknowledged include the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the Department of Health (DOH), the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), and all the public hospitals and their respective staff.

The month-long celebration of the 121st Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) has introduced a 10-year overarching theme of “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes”. – Report from PTV News / CF – rir
