Former NBA player Faried signs with CSKA Moscow

Russian basketball team CSKA Moscow confirmed on Saturday (Oct. 9) the signing of American center Kenneth Faried.

“The contract with the American big man is signed for two months with an option to extend until the end of the season. Kenneth will join the team immediately after completing the documents required to enter Russia,” CSKA Moscow said.

Making appearances in 478 NBA games, Faried played for Denver, Brooklyn, and Houston, averaging 11.4 points and 8.1 rebounds.

The 31-year-old also briefly played in China with the Zhejiang Guangsha Lions.

He was a member of the US national team that won the gold medal at the 2014 World Cup. (Anadolu) – bny
