PDEA buy-bust yields P2.5M worth of shabu in Manila mall parking

Five hundred grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, popularly known as shabu, with an estimated value of Php2,500,000.00 were confiscated during a buy-bust operation in Manila on November 13, 2017.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Aaron N. Aquino said the operation also resulted in the arrest of a suspected drug personality identified as Mark Anthony Montelibano, 38 years old, who was arrested by elements of PDEA Regional Office NCR (PDEA RO NCR) ) under the supervision of Director Ismael G. Fajardo in Sta. Mesa, Manila.

A case for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Montelibano. (PDEA-PR)
