OCTA: COVID-19 trends showing decline

By Pearl Gumapos

The OCTA Research Group on Monday (Jan. 24) said the growth rate of COVID-19 cases and reproduction number in the National Capital Region (NCR) have declined.

So, bumababa pa talaga ang growth rate at iyong reproduction number ay nasa 1.03 sa Metro Manila,ā€ OCTA member Dr. Guido David said during the Laging Handa public briefing.

Ā According to David, if this trend continues, there might be less than 1,000 cases come Valentine’s Day.

ā€œKung mapapanatili natin itong trend, maaaring by Valentine’s [Day] ay baka nasa less than 1,000 cases per day sa Metro Manila.ā€
