NCR, Cavite, Rizal, now classified as moderate risk — OCTA

The National Capital Region (NCR), Cavite, and Rizal are now classified under moderate risk, the OCTA Research Group said on Sunday, Jan. 30.

According to a Twitter post by OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David, NCR, Cavite, and Rizal are now at moderate risk, while Batangas, Laguna, and Quezon remain at high risk.

ā€œNCR, Cavite and Rizal at moderate risk based on Covidactnow. Note that positivity rates are still very high at greater than 20%. Batangas, Laguna Quezon still at high risk. We need to strictly comply with health protocols to bring this down to low risk,ā€ David said.

 

ā€œNCR could improve to low risk within two weeks if downtrend continues,ā€ he added.

The average daily attack rate (ADAR) in NCR is 23.01 and the growth rate is at -68%.

In Cavite, the ADAR is at 20.30, and the growth rate is at -65%.

In Rizal, the ADAR is 15.09, and the growth rate is -66%. – With reports from Naomi Tiburcio/PG – bny
