The tandem of Senators Panfilo “Ping” Lacson Sr. and Vicente “Tito” Sotto III is set to conduct its proclamation rally in Imus, Cavite today (Feb. 8), as the 90-day campaign season for national positions begins.
Imus is Lacson’s hometown where he and Sotto will share their platforms for the country. Their event will begin this afternoon, starting with a mass at the Imus Cathedral.
“Tough problems need tough solutions and tough leaders. Sa Imus, Cavite tayo nagmula at dito rin natin ihahayag ang ating reporma para sa bayan,” Lacson said.
The main program will be held at the Imus Grandstand at 5:00 p.m.
The tandem is vowing for a clean and organized system without double standards in prosecuting corrupt government personnel. In the previous presidential forums, Lacson also mentioned budget reform and internal cleansing. – Reports from Eunice Samonte/AG
