PH ok’s vax certs of 4 more countries

The Philippines has recognized the national COVID-19 vaccination certificates of Brazil, Israel, South Korea, and Timor Leste for quarantine and travel purposes, the government announced Thursday (Feb. 10).

The announced updated policy is under the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) Resolution No. 160-D.

“Kung inyong matatandaan, may nauna na tayong mga bansa/teritoryo/jurisdictions kung saan ang kanilang proofs of vaccination ay ating kinilala at tinanggap,” acting Presidential Spokesperson and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles said in the Laging Handa briefing.

“Kaugnay nito inaatasan ang Bureau of Quarantine, Department of Transportation, One Stop Shop at Bureau of Immigration na kilalanin ang proofs of vaccination ng apat na bansang aking binanggit,” he added.

The vaccination certificates recognized by the Philippines government are among the valid proofs of vaccination for the quarantine and testing protocol of international travelers seeking to enter the country.

The Philippines recently lifted the mandatory facility-based quarantine of allowed  international passengers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, provided that they have a valid proof of vaccination. AG-rir
