The Department of Agriculture (DA) launched on Sept. 13, 2019, the Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita program to intensify developments in the agriculture and fisheries sector.

According to the DA, Kadiwa is known as a market system that sells major agricultural goods at reasonably low prices to help poor Filipino households.

Kadiwa, according to Bengo, is a market facilitation program of the DA.

The Ani at Kita program spans nationwide and helps all farmers and fishers to establish their market.

It also aims to attain food security for all Filipinos.

– bny
