MANILA – Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

According to the 4:00 a.m. report released by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Saturday (March 19), Batanes and the Babuyan Islands will also have cloudy skies with light rains due to the effect of the northeasterly surface wind flow in extreme northern Luzon.

Localized thunderstorms, meanwhile, will reign over the rest of northern Luzon.

Light to moderate winds coming from the northeast to east will prevail and become northwest to west over Zambales and Bataan in the afternoon, bringing slight to moderate sea conditions.

Likewise, light to moderate winds from east to northeast will be experienced over the Visayas, Palawan, including the Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro, with slight to moderate seas.

The same east to northeast wind direction with slight to moderate seas will be observed in Mindanao, the weather bureau said.

The rest of the country will see light to moderate winds blowing from east to northeast, with slight to moderate seas.

Sunrise was recorded at 6:01 a.m. while sunset is expected at 6:07 p.m.

The temperature in Metro Manila will reach up to 34°C, Puerto Princesa, up to 31°C; Tuguegarao, up to 33°C; and Baguio with a cooler 25°C. (PNA)
