LPG joins price hike

Prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased today (April 1) following the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the LPG Refillers Association said.

Along with the recent oil price hike, companies affected by the international tension announced midnight the new price adjustment of LPG by P3.25 per kilogram and an increase of P1.85 per liter for Auto LPG.

According to the LPG Refillers Association, tight supply of LPG started last week due to the unrelenting dispute between Russia and Ukraine, and the reduction of butane gas volume by one of the biggest LPG products suppliers due to maintenance work.  – PTV News/VC -ag
