Duque to candidates: Campaign for COVID-19 vaccination

by Meldred Ivy Padilla

Department of Health (DOH) Sec. Francisco Duque III requested electoral candidates on Tuesday (April 5), to campaign for COVID-19 vaccination ahead of the 2022 national elections.

During the Talk to the People of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on Tuesday, Duque said aside from campaigning for personal platforms, candidates of respective communities should also campaign for the national vaccination program.

The government is eyeing to fully vaccinate a total of 90 million Filipinos by the end of June. –gb
