Palace congratulates new Bar passers

Malacañang congratulated the new batch of Bar examination passers following the release of results with a record-high 72.28% passing rate early Tuesday, April 12.

The result released by the Supreme Court of the Philippines includes the list of examinees with “excellent performance” and for the 2020/2021 Bar examination conducted last February.

“Nais po nating batiin ang lahat ng mga pumasa sa Bar examinations. Mas dumami po ang ating mga abogado, mas maganda po ito para sa ating mga kababayan. Mabuhay po kayo mga bagong passers ng ating Bar examinations,” Andanar said.

Out of 11,402 examinees, a record-breaking 8,241 examinees are set to officially become lawyers. The February 2022 exams had the most examinees due to the suspension of two Bar exams during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The digitized Bar exam was held for two days on February 4 and 6 in different venues. –KC-ag
