Fair weather to prevail over PH

Most areas in the country will experience fair weather on Tuesday, April 19, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

According to its 4:00 a.m. bulletin, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country caused by the easterlies or localized thunderstorms. 

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur if severe thunderstorms will take place.

Moderate to strong wind speed heading east will be experienced in the extreme Northern Luzon while light to moderate wind speed heading east to northeast will prevail in other parts of the country.

Meanwhile, the extreme Northern Luzon will have moderate to rough water condition and a slight to moderate water condition over the coastal areas of the rest of the country. – gb
