Marcos maintains lead in Pulse Asia survey; Isko moves to 4th spot

Presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. maintained his lead in the April 16 to 21 Pulse Asia survey.

Based on the latest Pulse Asia survey, Marcos scored a 56% preference vote.

Vice President Leni Robredo came second with 23% preference vote, losing one percentage point, from 24% last March.

Among geographic areas, Marcos was highest in Mindanao at 67%, followed by the National Capital Region at 57%, Balanced Luzon at 54%, and Visayas at 47%.

Meanwhile, Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso is no longer at third spot, he was overtaken by Senator Manny Pacquiao.

Pacquiao got 7% preferential vote, while Moreno recorded 4%.

Lacson is still at the fifth spot with 2%.

The other candidates included in the poll were Ernie Abella (1%), Faisal Mangondato (1%), Leody de Guzman (0.3%), Norberto Gonzales (0.1%), and Jose Montemayor Jr. (0.1%).

Duterte-Carpio still leads VP race

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio is still the frontrunner in the vice-presidential rate, according to the same survey conducted by Pulse Asia.

Duterte posted 55% preference votes. At far second is Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto with 18%, followed by Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan with 16%.

Willie Ong came fourth with 3%.

The other vice-presidential aspirants included were Manny Lopez (1%), Lito Atienza (0.5%), Walden Bello (0.4%), Carlos Serapio (0.3%), and Rizalito David (0.1%).
