Scattered rain, cloudy skies expected in most parts of PH Sunday

The whole country will experience easterlies, or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Sunday, May 8.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA said Caraga and Davao Regions will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to easterlies or localized thunderstorms, it added.

The weather bureau warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Light to moderate winds headed east will blow over the entire country, with slight to moderate seas.

The temperature will range from 25.2 °C to 35.6°C. (PNA) – gb
