Senate receive 150 COCs for pres & vice pres

A total of 150 certificates of canvass (COCs) were transmitted to the Senate on Wednesday morning, May 18.

The transmitted COCs and election returns are from Cebu province, along with the ballots from overseas absentee voting in Spain, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Laos, Vatican City, Norway, and New Zealand.

It represents 86.71% of the 173 expected COCs for president and vice president posts.

The Senate and the House of Representatives will be having a joint session to canvass votes for the 2022 presidential and vice presidential elections on May 24. –KC/ag
