10 mobile Landbank ATMs to be deployed

As part of the 59th anniversary of the Landbank of the Philippines, 10 mobile automated teller machines (ATMs) were launched on Friday, Aug. 5, to be deployed in different areas across the country.

The ATMs will be stationed in areas that have limited access to basic banking services like cash withdrawals, balance inquiry and bills payment, and fund transfer.

It will also be deployed in calamity-affected areas for the prompt cash rollout for the beneficiaries of conditional and unconditional cash transfer programs of the national government under the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Manila City Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan lauded the initiative of the state-owned bank to address the needs of Manileños and other Filipinos that need their assistance.

A total of 20 mobile ATMs out of the 2,000 ATM networks of Landbank were already deployed.
