4.6-magnitude quake hits Antique

A 4.6-magnitude quake hit Anini-y, Antique Tuesday morning, Aug. 9, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

The tectonic tremor hit eight kilometers (km) southwest of Anini-y at 10:52 a.m.

It had a depth of focus of 21 km.

Intensity IV was felt in Anini-y, while Intensity III was felt in Tobias-Fornier, Antique.

Meanwhile, Instrumental Intensity was also recorded in Anini-y.

Damages and aftershocks are not expected.
