More than 500 market vendors and Commonwealth residents in Quezon City received their primary COVID-19 booster shots during the launch of PinasLakas booster vaccination drive of the local government unit and the Department of Health (DOH).

The event was led by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte and DOH-Metro Manila Center for Health Development Regional Director Gloria Balboa.

According to QC Task Force Vax to Normal Action Officer Dr. Maria Lourdes Eleria, they already started the week-long vaccination drive in markets in the city.

QC already launched PinasLakas in schools, malls, health facilities, and vaccination sites.
