10-K PDLs receive COVID-19 booster shots

The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) said 10,000 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) have received their COVID-19 booster shots on Monday, Sept. 5, under the “PinasLakas” vaccination drive of the national government.

BuCoR said 705 PDLs from Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm Central Compound in Occidental Mindoro received their booster shots of Pfizer and Sinovac vaccines.

Meanwhile, a total of 9,877 PDLs from the New Bilibid Prison Maximum Security Camp in Muntinlupa were given AstraZeneca, Moderna, and Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines. –KC/gb
