President Ferdinand R. Marcos on Tuesday, Oct. 18, declared Oct. 31 as a special non-working holiday in the country, the Office of the Press Secretary said.
“The President made the declaration to boost local tourism and allow workers to have time for their families,” Office of the Press Secretary Officer-in-Charge Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil said.
Malacañang earlier announced that Nov. 1 (All Saints’ Day) is also a special non-working day. -ag
