PHLPost launches FVR stamps, commemorative exhibit

The Philippine Postal Corporation launched on Friday, Nov. 25, former President Fidel V. Ramos (FVR) stamps and a commemorative exhibit in line with the National Stamp Collecting Month and 255th Anniversary of the Philippine Postal Service.

The commemorative exhibit at the Manila Central Post Office building in Liwasang Bonifacio features the late president’s collection and other memorabilia.

The National Stamp Collecting Month was declared by Ramos through proclamation No. 494 in 1994.

He is also instrumental in the promotion of Philately, the study and collection of stamps. –ag
