Voter registration to resume for 2023 barangay, SK poll

Voter registration will reopen for barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections in 2023, the Commission on Elections announced Monday, Dec. 5.

In the Laging Handa public briefing, Comelec Spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco said the registration will resume again on Dec. 12, Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.

The Comelec will also launch the “Register Anywhere Project” where the voter can register to vote even if it is not their voting precinct.

“We just avoid it… So there should be no influence or threats,” Laudiangco said.

“December 12, 2022 hanggang… Kaya sana po magparehistro tayo nang maaga,” he added. —Report from Louisa Erispe/KC – gb
