PTV youth show “Iskoolmates” was recognized at the 5th Gawad Lasallianeta.

“Iskoolmates” received “Green Zeal Award for Excellence” on Monday, Jan. 30.

The program aims to present a broader perspective on issues concerning the Filipino youth through allowing them to voice their views on matters that impact their lives as active stakeholders of the future.

It also serves as an avenue for intelligent discourse and social awareness as it targets to empower today’s young freethinkers with information.

“Iskoolmates” was previously named “Best TV Program” during the recent Guild of Educators Mentors and Students’ Hiyas ng Sining Awards.

Gawad Lasallianeta is the De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU) award-giving body which recognizes the most outstanding media and public communicators in the country.

The winners are chosen by DLSAU administrators, staff, faculty members, parents, and students. –ag
