The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) recommended revoking the driver’s license of a driver who crashed into 12 vehicles and injured 13 persons in Mandaluyong last Jan. 10.

LTO-IID officer-in-charge Renan Melitante said Dominador Braga, the driver, admitted he was driving the sport utility vehicle (SUV) when the incident happened.

“We have finished the investigation and the LTO will issue a decision based on the evidence in hand in addition to the driver’s confession,” Melitante said.

Braga is currently detained in Mandaluyong Police Custodial Center.

His lawyer Paul Nicomedes Roldan acted as the representative in the LTO hearing on Jan. 30.

Braga will go through a rigorous process to get his license back. – gb
