Task Force Bangon Marawi (TFBM) spearheaded over the weekend the groundbreaking ceremony for 18 new community facilities for residents affected by the 2017 Marawi siege.

The structures, with a total cost of P200 million, include a multi-purpose covered court, daycare center, wet and dry market, transport terminal, health center, material recovery facility, livelihood building, and police outpost.

Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Assistant Secretary for TFBM Melissa Aradanas said the soon-to-rise facilities are part of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s commitment to “restore Marawi City’s economic prowess, and for its people.

Aradanas attributed the city’s progress to the “unwavering commitment” of the TFBM in supporting the local government unit and its constituents.

– gb
