LTO sets fees for driving schools

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) set on Wednesday, March 22, maximum fees for driving schools.

This following complaints against driving schools for alleged overcharging.

For motorcycles, a maximum prescribed fee for a theoretical driving course (TDC) is P1,000, while for practical driving course (PDC) is capped at P2,500.

Meanwhile, for light vehicle driving, TDC maximum fee should be at P1,000, while PDC is set at P4,000.

LTO said the cap on driving school fees will take effect beginning April 15. -ag
