The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said Friday, March 31, that all provincial buses are permitted to travel along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) from April 6 to 10 to accommodate the expected influx of passengers during Holy Week.

On April 3 to 5, provincial buses will be allowed on EDSA between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., while from April 6 to 10, provincial buses will be permitted 24/7.

North Luzon-bound provincial buses must terminate their trips in Cubao, Quezon City bus terminals.

Meanwhile, provincial buses from south Luzon will terminate their trips in Pasay City’s bus terminals.

The decision is to allow provincial buses to ensure the convenience and comfort of commuters. -ag
